Alaska

This week we learned about Alaska.  The state insect is the 4 spot sciter dragonfly.  The state bird is a  willow tarmigine.  The state plant is a forget me not and the trans alaskin pipe line. And the capital is Juneau.

We are making salmon because they catch them a lot.

Alabama

This week we learned about the state of Alabama.  We learned that the state flower is a camillia. They are pink. The state the is bird yellow hamer. State insect is the monarce butterfly.

Today we made smeet potato biscuits, and they are under cooked. Mother likes it. It has nutmeg, salt, brown suger, pecan, and caned yams.  It is fun to cook, but more fun to eat it.
